Even our great grandparents were hosting guests almost 100 years ago. The guests – better known as “Sommerfrischler” came from the big City by train. They were picked up by a “Laddertrailor”. They usually stayed for several weeks.
The rooms were simple, there was a poo box and water for washing in front of the house. For breakfast the guest enjoyed a self made bread with butter and fresh milk from the cows. Delicious!
The tradition of a warm and friendly welcome is still alive today in our more than hundred years old farmhouse. But we adjusted to the comfort of the current time. We are looking forward to welcome you too in our nice farm in Salzburg country!
